<h1 class="topictitle1">Creating an AS Configuration from an Existing ECS Instance</h1>

In such a case, the parameter settings, such as the ECS type, vCPUs, memory, image, and disk settings (including size, type, encryption, and key) in the AS configuration are the same as those of the selected instance by default.</p>

In the navigation pane on the left, choose <strong id="as_02_0102__b7407184918379">Instance Scaling</strong>.</li><li id="as_02_0102__li26457778">Click <strong id="as_02_0102__b20409745161312">Create AS Configuration</strong>.</li><li id="as_02_0102__li36793414">Set the parameters for the AS configuration. <a href="#as_02_0102__table27476571">Table 1</a> lists the AS configuration parameters.
