<h1 class="topictitle1">Viewing Details of a DCS Instance</h1>

<div class="section" id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_section2701015"><h4 class="sectiontitle">Procedure</h4><ol id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_ol2053395318249"><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li1799392835619"><span>Log in to the DCS console.</span></li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li512135954614"><span>Click <span><img id="dcs-ug-0312016__image6121592469" src="en-us_image_0000001194522893.png"></span> in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.</span></li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li18411387341"><span>In the navigation pane, choose <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b1997435113506">Cache Manager</strong>.</span></li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_li65341724382"><span>Search for DCS instances using any of the following methods:</span><p><ul id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_ul377474119472"><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_li84688614713">Search by keyword.<p id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_p3831113210477"><a name="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_li84688614713"></a><a name="en-us_topic_0148195235_li84688614713"></a>If you do not select an attribute and enter a keyword in the search box, the system searches for instances by instance name by default.</p>
</li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_li839717116319">Select attributes and enter their keywords to search.<p id="dcs-ug-0312016__p1292012382077"><a name="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_li839717116319"></a><a name="en-us_topic_0148195235_li839717116319"></a>Click the search box, select an instance attribute, and enter a keyword to search. You can select multiple attributes at a time.</p>
<p id="dcs-ug-0312016__en-us_topic_0148195235_p439162018312">For example, choose <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b28791620105410">Status</strong> &gt; <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b17150172217548">Running</strong>, <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b1639352995419">Type</strong> &gt; <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b83931634105415">Master/Standby</strong>, and <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b06811046135413">Cache Engine</strong> &gt; <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b1285594915548">Redis 5.0</strong>.</p>

<div class="note" id="dcs-ug-0312016__note1117710396318"><span class="notetitle"> NOTE: </span><div class="notebody"><ul id="dcs-ug-0312016__ul21774393318"><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li1417763910317">The instance has a domain name address if it was created after DCS has been interconnected with DNS. Instances created before the interconnection only have IP addresses and cannot be changed to domain name access.</li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li1717716391139">For a master/standby DCS Redis 4.0 and later instance, <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b10189133495318">Connection Address</strong> indicates the domain name and port number of the master node, and <strong id="dcs-ug-0312016__b4190934105312">Read-only Address</strong> indicates the domain name and port number of the standby node. When connecting to such an instance, you can use the domain name and port number of the master node or the standby node. For details, see <a href="CacheMasterSlave.html#CacheMasterSlave__section5805185095215">Architecture of Master/Standby DCS Redis 4.0/5.0/6.0 Instances</a>.</li><li id="dcs-ug-0312016__li17177539536">You can change the port only for a DCS Redis 4.0 and later instance, but not for a DCS Redis 3.0 instance.</li></ul>
