A relational database contains a group of data objects for storing, managing, and accessing data objects, including tables, views, indexes, and functions.</p>

The database supports <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001813598724__b13408164022612">UTF-8</strong>, <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001813598724__b6820548112613">GBK</strong>, <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001813598724__b13628185314262">SQL_ASCII</strong>, and <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001813598724__b1432218565261">LATIN1</strong> encoding character sets.
