Changing ECS Names

Scenarios

After an ECS is created, you can change its name as needed.

Multiple ECS names can be changed in a batch. After the change is complete, the ECS names will be identical.

Changing the Name of a Single ECS

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Under Computing, click Elastic Cloud Server.
  4. Click the ECS for which you want to change the name.

    The ECS details page is displayed.

  5. Click next to the ECS name and edit it.
