Binding an EIP

Scenarios

You can assign an EIP and bind it to an ECS so that the ECS can access the public network.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Under Computing, click Elastic Cloud Server.
  4. On the Elastic Cloud Server page, click the name of the target ECS.

The ECS details page is displayed.

  5. On the EIPs tab, click Bind EIP.

  6. Select an EIP and click OK.

If no EIP is available in the current region, the EIP list is empty. In such a case, assign an EIP and then bind it.
