If the tenant has sub-tenants, delete them; otherwise, the tenant cannot be deleted.</li><li id="admin_guide_000124__l235887d8d8b14b2a98643692e0d7bf31">The role of the tenant is not associated with any user or user group.</li></ul>

Otherwise, the storage space of the tenant will be deleted.</li><li id="admin_guide_000124__li8156133694719">To delete a tenant without retaining the tenant data as a user who does not belong to the supergroup, you should first log in to the HDFS client as a user who belongs to the supergroup and then manually clear the storage space of that tenant to avoid residual data.</li></ul>

After the tenant is deleted, the role and storage space of the tenant are also deleted.</p>
