What Is the Maximum Size of a File That Can Be Stored in a File System?
For SFS Capacity-Oriented file systems, the maximum supported size of a file is 240 TB.
For general purpose file systems, the maximum supported size of a file is 240 TB.
For 1,000 MB/s/TiB, 500 MB/s/TiB, 250 MB/s/TiB, 125 MB/s/TiB, 40 MB/s/TiB, and 20 MB/s/TiB file systems, the maximum size of a file is 320 TB. For Standard, Standard-Enhanced, Performance, and Performance-Enhanced file systems, the maximum size of a file is 16 TB.
