Enabling or Disabling a VPC Border Firewall
After a firewall is configured, it is in Disabled state by default. You can manually enable or disable inter-VPC protection.
Enabling a Firewall
- Log in to the management console.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click
and choose . The Dashboard page will be displayed. - (Optional) Switch to another firewall instance: Select a firewall from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.
- In the navigation pane, choose Assets > Inter-VPC Border Firewalls.
- In the upper part of the page, click Enable Protection next to Firewall Status.
- Click OK.

Follow-up Operations
To add a protected VPC after a firewall is enabled, perform the operations in Associating a Protected VPC with the Firewall and Configuring VPC Route.
