<h1 class="topictitle1">Dropping a Database</h1>

<div id="body32001227"><p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098833138__en-us_topic_0185264752_p99001637182819">Individual or batch drop can be performed on databases. Refer to <a href="DWS_DS_133.html">Batch Dropping Objects</a> section for batch drop.</p>

<p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098833138__en-us_topic_0185264752_p10826121">Follow the steps below to drop a database:</p>
