<div id="body32001227"><p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_p1464984091216">Individual or batch dropping can be performed on schemas. Refer to <a href="DWS_DS_133.html">Batch Dropping Objects</a> section for batch dropping.</p>

<p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_p63582688">Follow the steps below to drop a schema:</p>

<ol id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_ol6703932"><li id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_li28195225"><span>In the <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_b48032634216">Object Browser</strong> pane, right-click the selected schema and select <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_b12804206124213">Drop Schema</strong>.</span><p><p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_p36932819421">A confirmation dialog to drop the schema is displayed.</p>

This action will remove the schema from the <strong id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_b20093282131632">Object Browser</strong>.</span><p><p id="EN-US_TOPIC_0000001098993212__en-us_topic_0185264861_p92036121395">A popup message and the status bar display the status of the completed operation.</p>
