Creating Alarm Rules
Scenarios
You can set alarm rules and notifications for ECSs. This helps you learn about ECS statuses and receive alarm notifications in a timely manner.
This section describes how to set ECS alarm rules.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner and select a region and project. - Under Management & Deployment, click Cloud Eye.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Alarm Management > Alarm Rules.
- On the Alarm Rules page, click Create Alarm Rule to create an alarm rule, or modify an existing alarm rule.
The following uses modifying an existing alarm rule as an example.
- Click the target alarm rule.
- Click Modify in the upper right corner of the page.
- In the Modify Alarm Rule dialog box shown in Figure 1, set parameters as required.
- Click Modify.
After an alarm rule is modified, the system automatically notifies you of an alarm when the alarm complying with the alarm rule is generated.
