<div class="section" id="dds_03_0044__section479312363215"><h4 class="sectiontitle">Procedure</h4><ol id="dds_03_0044__ol53357722171817"><li id="dds_03_0044__li312682313217"><span><a href="dds_02_0043.html">Log in to the DDS console.</a></span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__li7921722134318"><span>In the navigation pane on the left, click <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__uicontrol1131304942316"><b>Parameter Group Management</b></span>.</span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__li10457454171817"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__uicontrol2190175417402"><b>Parameter Group Management</b></span> page, select the <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__uicontrol019085412405"><b>Clusters</b></span> or <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__uicontrol519113541403"><b>Replica Sets</b></span> tab, locate the parameter group you created and click <span><img id="dds_03_0044__image56107257362" src="en-us_image_0284274989.png"></span> in the <strong id="dds_03_0044__b5808195454114">Description</strong> column.</span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__li17271248114017"><span>Enter new description information. The parameter group description contains a maximum of 256 characters and cannot contain the carriage return character and the following special characters: >!<"&'=</span><p><ul id="dds_03_0044__ul1068042333615"><li id="dds_03_0044__li5680192363611">If you want to submit the change, click <span><img id="dds_03_0044__image1836612211960" src="en-us_image_0284275120.png"></span>. After the modification is successful, you can view the new description in the <strong id="dds_03_0044__b565361747">Description</strong> column of the parameter group list.</li><li id="dds_03_0044__li1968032313616">If you want to cancel the change, click <span><img id="dds_03_0044__image99639101373" src="en-us_image_0284275038.png"></span>.</li></ul>
